- Faith & Mission
Every few years Catholic schools across Australia undertake extensive investigations into their religious identity, gathering data from students, parents, teachers and community members. This investigation is known as the Enhancing Catholic Schools Identity (ECSI) Project run in part from the Leuven University in Belgium. Many of our parents may recall approximately four years ago we participated in this project and the school was provided with some useful feedback on how it was moving ahead as part of the Catholic mission. I provide you with that introduction to announce that once again we will be engaged in the project this month and are seeking parent/caregiver participation to complete a survey.
Undoubtedly, we would like as many parents/caregivers as possible to complete the survey so we can gather feedback about the Catholic identity of our school. This isn’t always easy as we all lead exceptionally busy lives and/or may feel unable to comment on Catholic ‘stuff’. Rest assured, we want to invite all of our parents to be involved over the next month and are offering an incentive. Namely, a $200 Coles/Myers Gift Card will be drawn from entries of successfully completed surveys. You can print out your Certificate of Participation’ and drop it into the office or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org to be included in the draw.
Your responses are anonymous and your personal data is treated confidentially in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.
