Ngurra Yaba (Talking Place)
This page is currently under construction.
A new view is in production featuring footage from our Wulgurukaba Traditional Owners, Brenton Creed and Ashley Saltner.
In the meantime, we invite you to take a moment to view the cultural protocols for Ngurra Yaba.
Cultural Protocols and Obligations:
Ngarra Yaba is not just a space, but a living part of Wulgurukaba Country. As Caretakes, we are entrusted to uphold these cultural responsibilities:
- Enter with respect
- One voice at a time
- Protect the stories
- Be fully present
- Everyone belongs
- Respect the Land and Lore
The Wulgurukaba People now share this Yarning Circle with St Clare's Catholic School, trusting you to carry the obligation to respect, protect, and nurture this space as part of Country.
Practical guidelines for use to help care for this space each day:
- Quiet space only
- No food or drink (water only)
- One entry point
- Used with care by all students, staff, and families.
